Who doesn’t love winter weddings? The cold, the snow & of course the most wonderful time of the year. We want to celebrate this week with a few winter wedding images for your enjoyment. All of us here at Swensen Photography love seeing the fabulous things brides are coming up with to make their winter weddings unique, fun & personal. Hot chocolate bars are always a hit & so are personalized candy buffets. When it comes to wedding decor for winter weddings we’ve seen it all. My favorite part about winter weddings is the quiet times when it is oh so cold but the couple doesn’t care because they are so in love & just want us to capture the moment for them. They won’t remember how cold they were just how in love they are & how happy their special day was. Happy winter weddings everyone.

Courtney & Brolin~ Utah Winter Wedding

What a gorgeous couple Courtney & Brolin make. This was such a beautiful winter wedding at the Salt Lake Temple. They had a fantastic celebration after their wedding at the Lion house, which also was awesome.

Be sure to check out the amazing detail in Courtney’s dress, she had it custom made for her & she looked incredible.

Courtney & Brolin were absolute troopers the day of their wedding. They were married on 12/30/2010 & it was one of the coldest days ever. Thanks Courtney & Brolin for being such a great couple & for letting Swensen Photography be part of your special day.

Courtney & Christopher~California Wedding Photography

We had an incredible time at Courtney & Christopher’s wedding. They were married in the gorgeous Oakland Temple and had their reception at the Round Hill Country Club in Alamo, California. They were married December 28,2010 & their day was a day never to be forgotten. Courtney & Chris were troopers in the rain & we got some incredible shots even with the inclement weather.

One thing you will never be able to predict is what the weather will be like on your special day. At Swensen Photography we know how to capture the moments even when the weather isn’t on your side. If your wedding day comes with showers, snow or hail, you can trust us to capture all of the moments regardless of the weather. We have seen & done it all. If you are disappointed in the weather keep one thing in mind it isn’t about the weather it is about the love you share with each other & preserving the moments that will be cherished forever. Besides, some of our favorite images include an umbrella and the rain or snow as they add an element that not every bride gets to have. There is something to say about uniqueness.
