Brittany & Brandon were married this past Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at the Salt Lake Temple and their reception was held at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
Their wedding was so beautiful. Thanks for letting Swensen Photography be part of your special day.
Brittany & Brandon met at Weber State University 5 years ago in a business class and they love being together. They enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, biking, scuba diving, going to the gym, crossword puzzles, playing racquetball and they also do crafts together. They just enjoy spending time together.
The Proposal~Brandon proposed to Brittany by using the Amazing Race theme. The Amazing Race is the only TV show that Brittany watches so he set up a mini amazing race with a tape recorder of him telling about their favorite places. He sent her to the place where they had their first kiss, their first I love you & lots of other fun places. At the end he was there & proposed. What a GREAT idea Brandon- props to you, so fun!!

What Brandon likes most about Brittany~”She is so fun and makes me a better person.”
They are both so excited to be living with their best friend, traveling together and just enjoying life as a happy married couple. We are so excited for you both. Congratulations from all of us at Swensen Photography, we are so happy for this AWESOME couple!!
Heather & Brett had a beautiful wedding. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple and they had their reception at The Point, which is a great location for receptions. There are a lot of windows to bring in the natural light until the sun goes down of course, & it has a large open floor plan which makes a great dance floor. The view of the Salt Lake valley is absolutely beautiful. We have shot weddings there on the 4th of July and you could see fireworks all over the valley, very cool. If you are looking for a clean, classy, modern look check out The Point, it may be what you are looking for.
Here is a prime example of that unpredictable weather that every bride fears having on their special day. In spite of the weather we were able to snap some incredible images. Although this wasn’t quite what they had in mind for their wedding day, I love the outcome. We were able to capture some gorgeous images and I think the touches of snow actually add to their photographs.
Congratulations to an amazing couple. Brett & Heather we want to wish you lots of joy and happiness. Love the entire Swensen Photography team.
Here is an amazing couple Jon & Chelsie. They were so fun that we couldn’t miss out on blogging about them. We wanted to share their story with you. Jon and Chelsie were set up by Chelsie’s Dad. Yes, you heard me right, Chelsie’s Dad picked his own son in-law. How lucky is he? Chelsie’s Dad was in the Bishopric (leadership in the LDS church) at a singles ward where Jon attended. Chelsie was living in Los Angeles at the time and her Dad really wanted them to meet so he flew Chelsie home to go on a date with Jon. Jon must have been excited to go with Chelsie because he was still recuperating from a sports injury and showed up with a cane and wheelchair to pick her up. Jon insisted they still go to dinner in spite of his injuries. They obviously hit it off.
Jon proposed to Chelsie on her birthday. They went to dinner with Chelsie’s entire family at Teppanyaki. Jon had bought a Nothing Bundt Cake with a huge pink flower in the middle and then he placed the cake in front of Chelsie while everyone was singing happy birthday. There was a a beautiful ring sitting inside the flower on top of the cake and Chelsie turned around to see Jon on his knee. With tears streaming down her face, she said “Yes!”.
Jon and Chelsie are such a fun couple they enjoy each others company and love to do everything together. They do have to admit that their favorite past time is golf. They love the peacefulness and beauty of it being just them and the golf course.
Jon & Chelsie’s song is “You And Me” by Lifehouse.
They honeymooned in the beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They loved every minute of it and look forward to their exciting future together.
My favorite part about Jon & Chelsie is what they said about each other.
Jon said that what he likes the most about Chelsie is “She always knows how to brighten the situation. Apart from the fact that she is the most beautiful girl, she never ceases to surprise me. I love the way she loves me.”
Chelsie said that what she likes the most about Jon is “Other than his incredibly handsome dimples is his love for me and his patience. Jon knows me better than I know myself, which makes him such a wonderful husband.”
We are so glad they found each other. Congratulations to an incredible couple. We wish you always to have lots of love and happiness in your lives together.
Thanks for letting Swensen Photography share your love story.
