We couldn’t resist blogging about this gorgeous family.  The camera loves the Stewart’s.  Don’t these adorable kids have the most incredible, big, brown eyes?  Not to mention, the adorable cheeks and smiles, they are way too cute.  Thanks so much for an amazing shoot in our studio.  We loved every second of it.

We went to The Nook & Cranny for this fun shoot with the Knowles family.  I love taking pictures at The Nook & Cranny.  They have so many great walls to shoot on. Tyson is Eric & Karen’s oldest son who will be leaving them for a couple years to serve a mission for his church in Armania.  WOW~Armania!  What a great experience he will have, we are so EXCITED for you Tyson.  You will do a FANTASTIC job.   We were thrilled to take these shots before Tyson goes.  Thanks for a great shoot Knowles Family.  Good luck Tyson, from all of us at Swensen Photography!!

Weddings are unpredictable and we are ready for anything.  Our head photographer is Justin.  Justin has loved photography since he was just a young child.  His dad had an old Rolleiflex camera that Justin was fascinated by and that struck the urge for him to learn more.  He started taking photography classes as soon as he could in high school and the rest is history.  Justin has an incredible gift for photography.  He is able to see what most of us can’t see through the lens and he doesn’t miss a thing.   His talent behind the camera, as well as his vision behind the computer, come together to create beautiful pictures you are sure to love.  Our other photographers are mainly used as a second camera for the packages that require complete coverage. Our Philosophy

Trust The Best! You only have one chance to get your wedding images right.  Don’t take a chance on a photographer who doesn’t have experience.  There are many unexpected things that happen at weddings, weather, accidents, disasters, we have seen it all.   We know how to overcome any unexpected event and still capture incredible images.  We also know how to capture the smallest detail of your wedding. You can’t redo a wedding.  Because of our many years of experience we will provide you with amazing images from start to finish, that you will love & will be proud to have on display.  Every picture will look good not just the ones we photo shop.  Many photographers shoot between 3000-5000 pictures and then delete the ones that aren’t good- they usually end up with about 600-800 pictures.  That is not what we do at Swensen Photography.  We take pictures start to finish without deleting unwanted images. All of our pictures are GREAT from start to finish.  There is no need to delete our pictures, we know how to get great shots & we do just that!

We had so much fun shooting the Judd family.  We had the pleasure of shooting Chelsy & Josh’s wedding a few years back and we are so happy to take these pictures of the most recent member of their family.  Adorable little Jameson was welcomed to the Judd home on 3/17/2010.   Congratulations Chelsy & Josh on your new addition, we are so happy for our die hard U fans- GO UTES!!

Here are some pictures from  a great shoot at the Exchange Place, Downtown Salt Lake City.  The Exchange Place is a fantastic location because you can get a variety of shots in that area.  The Exchange Place is one of six historic districts in the downtown Salt Lake area. There are lots of different textures and colors to help make the photo shoot come alive.  If you are looking for a great location this is always a top spot.   I love the urban feel and unique architecture here.

This awesome family is the Nelson family. These four beautiful sisters were so fun and Mom & Dad were pretty cool too. They really brought there personalities with them for our photo shoot. You can tell that they love each other and have a great time being together. Mom & Dad should be proud to have such great daughters. We had a good time taking these at the Nook & Cranny. Family shoots are so much fun. The Dahl family was so fun and we were especially fortunate with the cool sky and bright leaves during their shoot. We love the colors of fall, they make for amazing pieces of art.

The Wright family was such a fun bunch to photograph! Besides being fun, they are such an incredible family. What a great family you have. With this shoot we had lots of cute kids running around made everybody laugh and smile the whole time. But they preferred to run and jump around the rocks and play instead of have their picture taken. Thanks for being troopers & letting us get these great images. As soon as the pictures were done, they dashed around again! It was all fun and games and we had such a fun time. Thanks guys!
