Last year one of our clients & friends the Barney’s, decided to take their family on a family fun surprise day.  They shared with us the events of their surprise & we happened to be part of it.

Mom & Dad (Melissa & Brian) gave invitations to their little ones stating to be ready in their new dresses for their big day.  When the time arrived their first surprise arrived.  Sam with Something Vintage Something Blue, picked them up in his beautiful princess ivy (vintage car).  They all hopped in the gorgeous car ready for an adventure.  Everyone watched as they were riding in style & the girls loved every second of it.  They reached their first destination spot at La Caille in Sandy.  This is where we came in.  One of our master photographers, Justin was their to capture some family shots to help them remember this special day.

After their family photo shoot they traveled down to the fabulous Grand America hotel where they had a little tea party.  If you haven’t had the tasty Grand America’s Afternoon tea, I highly recommend it.  They have lots of different teas, or hot chocolates to choose from & I have even had a scrumptious chilled chocolate drink that was to die for, YUM!!  The afternoon tea comes with finger sandwiches, scones & one of their amazing desserts.  Perfect for a fun day out with the girls or a family day like this one as even Dad enjoyed being pampered.

After their tummies were full Sam drove them to down town Salt Lake City where they were able to enjoy the Christmas Lights at temple square.  It was a memorable evening & their girls loved it.

What a fantastic spot for family photographs.  The Great Salt Lake makes for incredible scenery, sunset & captures nature at it’s best.  Now that the weather is starting to come around we will be having more fun family shoots.  Special thanks to the beautiful Crowell family for a great shoot.

We had a great time hanging out with baby Maddox.  He is so adorable.  Just look at those big blue eyes.   Our entire office wanted to get Maddox to smile.  He was so fun.      What a beautiful family they are.  Thanks for letting Swensen Photography capture your sweet family & especially Maddox, he couldn’t be cuter.

What a good looking family the Hoffman’s are.  It may have been cold but we got some great shots.  Thanks to the Hoffman family for a great shoot at Little Cottonwood Canyon.  I must say, I love the snow in these pictures.  The cold was well worth it.

Not only is this a good looking family but they have awesome personalities too.  I loved how they wanted to add a couple props with their shoot.  Hey shoot, get it, if not you will if you keep looking at these fun images.  Talk about a shotgun proposal. This is the adorable Beckmann Family.  We went up to Millcreek Canyon & had a fantastic shoot.   They were lots of fun & really showed their personalities.  And their dog was as cute as can be.  I love how they coordinated everyone including the dog in their color scheme. They all look awesome.  Thanks to the Beckmann family for letting Swensen Photography take their family portrait.  We had a great time.

We will be having our annual photos with Santa at Sweet Briar Hollow in Draper this coming Saturday November 27, 2010 from 10:00 am to 4:00pm.   Be sure to bring the kids so they can sit on Santa’s lap & get their picture taken by Swensen Photography.
