We had a great time shooting Taylor & Elise’s engagements.  Aren’t they such a cute couple?  I love how they look at each other, they are so sweet. Meet Alyssa and Tyler. Could they be any more in love? I think not. We are so lucky to work with such great families. We have already had the wonderful opportunity sharing in the Miller family’s special day, when her sister Courtney got married a few years ago and now we get to be there for Alyssa. We had so much fun taking them out to The Great Salt Lake and got so many amazing shots. They are such an adorable couple.  They made our jobs so easy. There is nothing quite like capturing real emotion.  I love these images of the Jamie & Brett because we were able to get just that, real emotion.  Jamie has such a gorgeous smile & I love the way Brett looks at her.  What an incredible couple they are.   We asked Jamie & Brett what they like about each other & loved their responses.

Jame said “He is full of joy.  Brett’s sweet countenance is contagious.”

Brett said “ She is smart and very sexy.  She is also a very kindhearted person and thoughtful of others.”

We are excited to share their special day with them.  Jamie is so on top of things but we wish them luck with their final wedding plans.

Shara Debenham & Stephen Blunck were recently married, but before I post their wedding images I wanted to share their beautiful engagement pictures with you.  I will post their wedding images soon, so watch for them.  I couldn’t help but p0st their cute engagements that we took up at Little Cottonwood Canyon.  I love how gorgeous it is up there.  Maybe a little chilly but great place to shoot for sure.

We had a lot of fun taking pictures of this great couple, Amanda & Ted at Gilgal Gardens.   This cute couple met at a singles ward in Bountiful and are planning to get married mid June.  We are excited for them and their new adventure they will have together as a married couple.  Ted is a dentist in Colorado where Amanda will be moving to be with him after the wedding.  We wish them lots of love & happiness in their future together.

We had a great time on our photo shoot with these two love birds,  Jace & Kimberly.  They are a really fun couple that love to go jeeping, finding wildlife or wild horses, finding old building or coal mines and pretty much exploring of any kind.  They also love taking pictures, especially when they find something incredible.

I love that Kimberly & Jace thought about adding hats in their pictures for their 1920’s themed wedding.  What a great idea!!  I also like how they chose the simple black & white, classic colors, for their clothes and how they coordinated  without having to have exactly the same outfit.    We are really excited for their wedding at the end of June.  I can’t wait to see the images from their wedding day.  Kimberly & Jace are from Wyoming (YES, we travel~contact our office for details 801-253-4111) and they are getting married at Heritage Farm Barn.

We were able to capture some great shots of Kimberly & Jace at the Nook & Cranny.  They have so many great images to choose from.  Kimberly & Jace thanks for being so fun to work with.  We look forward to seeing you in less than two months.

What a fun shoot we had at Memory Grove with Jeff & Katie.  We even caught Jeff making a goofy face~love it!  This couple was so fun.  There is nothing like capturing real emotion.  You can see HAPPY written all over this cute couple.   We are excited to be part of their special day coming up in less than a month.  YEAH!!  Congrats Jeff & Katie and we will see you soon.

Weddings are unpredictable and we are ready for anything.  Our head photographer is Justin.  Justin has loved photography since he was just a young child.  His dad had an old Rolleiflex camera that Justin was fascinated by and that struck the urge for him to learn more.  He started taking photography classes as soon as he could in high school and the rest is history.  Justin has an incredible gift for photography.  He is able to see what most of us can’t see through the lens and he doesn’t miss a thing.   His talent behind the camera, as well as his vision behind the computer, come together to create beautiful pictures you are sure to love.  Our other photographers are mainly used as a second camera for the packages that require complete coverage. Our Philosophy

You only have one chance to get your wedding images right.  Don’t take a chance on a photographer who doesn’t have experience.  There are many unexpected things that happen at weddings, weather, accidents, disasters, we have seen it all.   We know how to overcome any unexpected event and still capture incredible images.  We also know how to capture the smallest detail of your wedding. You can’t redo a wedding.  Because of our many years of experience we will provide you with amazing images from start to finish, that you will love & will be proud to have on display.  Every picture will look good not just the ones we photo shop.  Many photographers shoot between 3000-5000 pictures and then delete the ones that aren’t good- they usually end up with about 600-800 pictures.  That is not what we do at Swensen Photography.  We take pictures start to finish without deleting unwanted images. All of our pictures are GREAT from start to finish.  There is no need to delete our pictures, we know how to get great shots & we do just that!

Michael and Kimberly met in a swing dance class at BYU.  This adorable couple loves spending time together and enjoys the outdoors.  Kimberly had some really cool shoes and we learned that she LOVES shoes!   I love taking pictures at the Jordan River Parkway.  There are so many great spots.  We captured some great images  of this cute couple.  Thanks Michael & Kimberly for a great photo shoot.  We look forward to your wedding in June.  Good luck with all the details, we know it will be beautiful!
